Changing Lives, Minds, and Communities through Jesus Christ
Over the years, many programs have been created to meet the rapidly evolving needs of prisoners and their families and to increase awareness among the free population. PRISON MINISTRY PROGRAMSAngel TreeIt starts with a gift. But it's so much more.Every child has a story. For 1.5 million American children, that story is filled with the abandonment, loneliness, and shame that comes from having a mom or dad in prison. At Angel Tree, we find ways to reach out to these children, by sharing Christ's love with them at Christmas and by developing year-round relationships. In the end, it's so much more than giving Christmas gifts-it's about restoring families.
InnerChange Freedom InitiativeA real crime stopper.Your taxes have been used to keep offenders in prison. Wouldn’t you like to invest in something that helps keep them out? Out in the community living productive, responsible lives . . . rather than reverting to crime and heading back to prison? The InnerChange Freedom Initiative®—a values-based reentry program developed by and affiliated with Prison Fellowship—is proving that prisoners can get out and stay out. Operation Starting LineWe're not afraid of the dark.
Prison can be a dark place, but we believe that there is a light that shines brighter than the shadows of prison. Prison Fellowship partners with dozens of Christian ministries to bring the transforming message of Jesus Christ to prisoners across the country through in-prison outreaches known as Operation Starting Line (OSL). Will you join with us to bring the light to the darkness of prison?

We all pay a high price when parolees go back to prison—prisoners pay with their freedom; the community with the safety of its streets; citizens with their taxpayer dollars. By teaming up with
corrections officials, community leaders, and other faith-based organizations, Prison Fellowship is trying to stop these trends. Will you join with us to cut incarceration costs, make safer
communities, and keep prisoners out for life?
